One of my favorite Meshuggah tracks off their immortal Chaosphere album! I really like the structure or lack thereof in this song. I am playing Damien, my custom mahogany Ibanez RG7. This is one of the buried treasures of 7 string pickups. This guitar has always sounded dark, no matter what pickup i put in it, but now it is clear as a bell, INSANELY tight, and handles low tunings effortlessly. But if you have a dark guitar that needs some clarity, this is THE pickup! No mods. Thanks for watching! Messages: 29 Likes Received: Hi guys, I want an honest opinion on this one. I will tell you exactly how it was done later. G-Varbanov , Feb 11, Messages: 11, Likes Received: 2, I think you kinda gave it away in the YouTube description bud haha! Sounds pretty decent though, though I'd say too much bass, and a bit too much gain which makes it sound a bit thin. Nice though! If you wanted to know about the whole mix the drums are pretty smothered mostly the snare which is barely audible so I'd look into beefing that up some more and cutting the relevant frequencies from the guitar.
It's 7 p. Guitar World is witnessing this roving party from the outdoor deck of the House of Blues, a several-story, faux-ramshackle building fashioned in the style of old tin-roof blues shacks. Which is appropriate, given the occasion.
